I started Dance at 5 years old in the discipline of Hip Hop and later fell into other Dance Disciplines. I studied Hip Hop, Gymnastics, Freestyle and Cheerleading.
As a competitive dancer I travelled all around Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales and Spain to compete. I also took part in a televised deaf talent show progamme for RTE at age 7 with Hip Hop routine and went on to win the talent show.
I started my teaching journey in 2017 as a volunteer class assistant whilst working to obtain my teaching qualifications.
My qualifications include:
- Gymnastics Ireland qualified coach
- Acrobatic Arts Level 1 & 2 qualified teacher
- Alixa Flexibility qualified in Strength and Flexibility
Im currently still furthering my education to get the highest standards possible for my students to benefit from.
As a deaf person my biggest goal as a teacher will be to make class as accessible as I can. As a student I had to learn to adapt and overcome so as a teacher I feel its important to help students with similar needs to have the tools and help they require.
